Pagosa Springs, Colorado, is dubbed as home of the World's Deepest Geothermal Hot Spring. This quaint town sits near the southern point of the state and makes for a wonderful therapeutic escape. Visit The Springs Resort & Spa for access to twenty-four 100% mineral-water hot springs, including an all natural heated swimming pool. The springs overlook the San Juan River, and each pool varies in temperature throughout the day. Check out a map of all the hot springs here.

Hiking the verticals leading up to Alberta Peak
Enjoy The Most Snow in Colorado* and ride Wolf Creek Ski Area! There is no shortage of tree lines to explore, and you could spend a full day traversing new territory. The further back you go, the more runs you will find. Traverse Knife Ridge for a bonus element of scaring yourself into new confidence that can only come from riding unruly Double Blacks.

A Moonlit Walk for Dessert
Pagosa Springs is a great place to take a mini-vacation with your sweetie or the whole family. Natural Grocers is heaven to scoop up healthy snacks, especially the frozen chocolate covered bananas, and local brew. There is also a Wal-Mart a few miles outside of downtown with a wonderful selection of fresh veggies & meats. You don't want to miss out on the homemade Taquitos Appetizer from Riff Raff on the Rio, a local brewery that indulges classic record nights. And for the love of all that is holy, do not leave your vacation without a trip to the Malt Shoppe for a banana split~ it will rock your world.
