Dos Amigos Anglers Fly Shop & Guide Service is a veteran owned and operated retailer right alongside the streets of Eagle Nest, New Mexico. Owner- Wayne Thurber- offers an array of fishing expertise, guided trips, and licensing right on site. He has been running the shop for nearly a decade right in the heart of the Southwest.

THE FLY DAWG

Wayne got into fly fishing several decades before operating this brick and mortar shop while serving our country. He was working in very intense environments, and fly fishing acted as an outlet to decompress and find joy among the chaos. Now, he enjoys sharing this passion with guests and locals all around Northern New Mexico. "Fly fishing is for everyone!"

​GEAR UP IN EAGLE NEST

All guide trips through Dos Amigos are completely outfitted including gear, snacks, and beverages with the option of lunch on the full day trip. Guides fish the following rivers:  Rio Grande, Red River, Cimarron River, Rio Chama, Rio Costilla, San Juan River, New Mexico, and Conejos River (in Colorado).

​I have been going to Eagle Nest for years and hired Wayne for a guided fly day trip and he was great. Every time I come to town, I stop by and check in with him and he gives great fishing tips to customers new and old.
